AfWEN is a community dedicated to supporting African women in the evaluation sector. Founded in 2023, our membership includes evaluation professionals and practitioners from a diverse industry not limited to non-profit, academia, government and private. Our mission is to support, connect, and amplify the voices of women working in or aspiring to enter the evaluation field across Africa. We provide resources, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth, fostering a collaborative network where women can overcome challenges, share insights, and thrive in their careers. Through our platform, we are building a future where African women lead and shape impactful evaluations, driving positive change in communities across the continent.
